How do I export my contacts on Mac OS?

Mac OS applications can share contact information through a central application provided in the OS, simply called 'Contacts'.  To export your contacts on Mac OS X, follow the steps below.

Step #1

Launch the Contacts app of your Mac. If you have several contact groups, make sure to click on “All Contacts” in the upper left corner of the app.

Step #2

Click on any contact in your list of contacts to select it (it doesn’t matter what contact you select). Once you have selected one contact, press the Command + A. This will select all your contacts (they should all be highlighted in blue).

Step #3

In the Contacts app menu, go to File > Export > Export vCard.

Step #4

A dialogue box will ask you to save your exported contacts. You may save it anywhere on your computer.

That's it!  You can use your exported contact list and bulk upload the contacts into MX Guarddog.
